I'm John Asplin. I take on development contracts, integrations, and the awkward jobs that sit between "IT support" and "hire a team". Based in Rugby; work remote across the UK.
What I do
- Build and extend web apps and APIs (TypeScript, Node, React, Angular, C#)
- Wire systems together — HMRC RTI, pensions, Google Workspace, email (SES, Mailgun)
- Fix email deliverability and DNS when mail is going to spam
- Take over or finish projects that have stalled
- Occasional multi-site IT and network work for small teams
